Hamed is a creative, friendly, and active young boy from Kuwait. His biggest passion is programing. He spends most of his time developing apps and learning about computer technology. His goal is to study computer engineering and to have his own company. His biggest influences are Bill Gates and Steve Jobs. When he's not programing, he likes to go for a run, read a good book, and hangout with his friends. Hamed is excited about being a part of an American family and looks forward to experiencing a new culture and new traditions.

Paul from France, 15

Meet Paul, a friendly and athletic young man from France! He is social, but also likes quiet time to reflect. He has a close relationship with his paternal grandparents and cousins and lives with his parents and sister in the countryside. Paul likes a variety of sports including badminton, ice skating, swimming, skiing and biking. During his year abroad he hopes to become more open-minded and realizes that the experience will change his life. Paul is looking forward to learning more about life in the U.S. He can't wait to share his French culture and joie de vivre with his host family!
