September 28 Transportation Update
Dear Parents/Guardians,

I hope everyone has had a smooth start to the school year.  I was  recently made aware that the final paving of Route 306 is intended to  start back up on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 (weather permitting).  The  paving project should take approximately 5 days to complete.  As such,  we again have worked with city, county and construction officials to  postpone construction on school days until after 9 a.m. This will help  alleviate morning traffic flow concerns and help us ensure a smooth  start to the school day. Also, during the final phase we will adjust our  release times for high school and middle school students by 10-15  minutes to provide additional time for our elementary bus runs.  If a  school bus is going to be more than 15 minutes late, parents will  receive an email from their building administrator.

Parents and students who drive to school are advised to take the  appropriate precautions to prepare for additional drive times. We  appreciate everyone's help and patience. Go Hornets!

Thank you,

Mr. Wade
