Hello Kirtland Families,

I want to start by thanking everyone for their support with ensuring a very smooth start to the school year. Our staff has worked hard to provide a great beginning for our students and we appreciate your help as well.

There are a few updates that I would like to share with you:

• We will allow all students in grades K-12 free admittance to home regular season sporting events. KMS and KHS students will need to show their student IDs at the gate. (Student IDs are arriving shortly.)  Senior citizens and current/former military will also not be charged to attend regular season events.

• We have hired Morgan Smock to be the interim band teacher for grades 5-12 and interim marching band director. Morgan spent last school year as the long term sub in the KES music room. The plan is for her to start on Wednesday, August 21st.
