We will be starting a new Social Emotional Learning Program called Sources of Strength. The program will be used K-5 and Mrs. Fila, our school counselor will be facilitating the lessons with the teachers. The mission of Sources of Strength is to prevent adverse outcomes by increasing wellbeing, help-seeking, resiliency, healthy coping, and belonging.
Students are not allowed to bring phones and/or smart watches to school. They can be a distraction and we do not want anything misplaced or lost.
Conferences will be held on November 14th and 15th. Teachers will be sending out specific information on how to sign up in the next couple of weeks.
Please see the flyers below for Kirtland Youth Basketball League, K-Kids, Breast Cancer Walk, Kirtland Public Library, Math Tutoring at ESC of Western Reserve, and KYFL Cheer/Football Fundraiser that is happening Monday, October 7th.
Please remember to update your information in Infinite Campus. We need to have current phone numbers in case of an emergency.
When students visit the nurse, an automated email will be sent to families to let them know when and why the student was in the Nurse's Office.
Please report all transportation changes by 2:00 pm so we can make sure the students receive the updated information.
If you are sending checks in for fees or lunches, please make sure you write separate checks because they go into different accounts.
Please keep all toys at home unless a teacher has directed other wise. We want to make sure students are not distracted by their toys and we want to prevent lost toys.
All visitors must stop in the Main Office to receive a visitor's badge and all volunteers need to be fingerprinted.
