Hello Kirtland Staff and Families,

As you may have heard, there is an ongoing national bus driver shortage. We have been very fortunate to have minimal disruption to our services but our district is now down one driver.  The job has been posted but we have had no luck to date with any applicants. We are grateful to have substitute drivers covering routes but it is not sustainable.  So, in order to absorb the route and ensure that all students can still be transported, the a few of the routes will be changing starting on November 28, 2022.  Many of your children will be unaffected but some will have changes. Your child’s new information can be found in Infinite Campus at (https://lgca.infinitecampus.org/campus/portal/kirtland.jsp). 

While I realize it is less than ideal to make this kind of change during the school year, it is necessary to give us the ability to continue transporting our students to school.  We will continue seeking another bus driver in the meantime.
