Hello,

As we continue to navigate through a bus driver shortage, we have made some adjustments to make sure we can continue to transport all of our students to and from school each day. On Wednesday, February 15th, an adjustment in times will start; the new times can be found in Infinite Campus on February 10th.  Some students will have a new bus number. Even with these adjustments, our staff is very thin.  If a driver is out, we may still need to send out a communication requesting that you transport your child to school.  This is a last resort but we want you all to be prepared that it may happen.

The new routes are built to be as efficient as possible. So, if your child does not usually ride the bus to school, the bus will not be stopping by your residency.  If you need transportation to school and usually do not use it, please call the transportation department at 440-256-3311- ext. 1013 or email transportation@kirtlandschools.org the night before by 6:00 am at the very latest on the day of pickup. If you have any questions about the new routes, please call or email the transportation department.
