Welcome Miss Henderson!

We welcome Miss Caitlyn Henderson to our KES staff! Caitlyn will be joining the 3rd grade team for the 24-25 school year. Catilyn has had classroom experience in Pre-K, 1st, and 3rd grade, while also spending a whole school year in a 4th grade classroom during student teaching. Along with school, she has also worked with young children as a teacher aide at an early learning center for three years. She is eager to be a part of the Kirtland community where she intends to build positive relationships with students and their families. Caitlyn likes to be outdoors, going on hikes with her two dogs, kayaking, camping, playing soccer or softball, and taking trips to Cedar Point. She also really likes to spend time with family and friends, be creative with crafts, go to concerts, and watch movies.

Summer Sidekicks Programs

Our Summer Sidekicks programs are open for enrollment! Our FREE program is designed for grade 1-6 students to prevent the summer slide through engaging review and enrichment activities in June. With fun weekly themes, students will stay interested and involved while participating in a summer camp-style program. They'll rotate through stations focused on Mathematics, English Language Arts/Reading, Science, Arts, and Physical Recreation, ensuring a well-rounded experience. We also bring in reverse field trips and community partners to provide meaningful activities and lessons. Don't miss out! Visit our website for more information and help us spread the word by sharing the flyers below with interested students and families. Thank you!
