Final 6-12 Conference Date

Our 4th conference will consist of some group support conferences and potential individual conference times.  More information will be provided prior to spring break at the end of March.

Tutoring Opportunities

The Educational Service Center of the Western Reserve (ESCWR) is an integral part of the education system in our county, region, and state. They serve the students and staff of the local, exempted village, city school districts, and joint vocational schools in our region. We are pleased to announce a recent addition to our dynamic programming with the launch of the ESCWR Student Resource Tutoring Center in 2021! The opening of the tutoring center was made possible by the Whole Child Grant and is a no-cost service provided to students attending ANY school in Lake and Geauga Counties.

Tutoring Sessions: Tuesdays/Thursdays 5:30-6:30 PM & 6:40-7:40 PM

There is minimal paperwork involved initially when registering your child, it can be accessed at www.escwr.org (click on Family & Community Partnership Liaison tab) or, you can complete paperwork on-site when your child arrives for their first tutoring session.

Safer Ohio Tip Line

The Kirtland Local School District has registered for a new statewide anonymous school safety tip line that helps proactively ensure the safety and well-being of students.

Call or Text 844-SaferOH (844-723-3764) 24/7 with any information on threats to the school or student safety. 

You can refer back to this information on the KLSD website site at any time or by going to the red report concerns icon near the bottom of the KLSD website’s main page.
