Dear Parents, Happy Thanksgiving week! Kirtland Schools is launching the Parent Virtual Connect to support parents, students and teachers with virtual learning. The Kirtland Schools’ Virtual Connect aims to provide support for our students’ academic success while supporting our students’ social-emotional needs and growth. The Kirtland Schools’ Virtual Connect will provide a time for parent collaboration, to provide ideas and tips for parent and student success with virtual learning while parents support their children’s learning at home. Parent Virtual Connect: Parent Virtual Connect monthly meetings will be offered to parents to connect with each other, to discuss what is working for their children, what can be improved to support their students, to provide parents updates and tips and tricks to virtual learning, to brainstorm ideas on ways to involve their children in non-academic activities as well as how we can help parents support their child’s social-emotional growth throughout this unprecedented time. Each monthly meeting will focus on a specific topics for the first half of the meeting and the second half of the meeting will be open for questions, tips and tricks, ideas and other areas of interest.
