Fountas and Pinnell Reading Benchmark System

Quality reading instruction starts with a accurate and meaningful benchmark leveling system. This research based and expertly crafted assessment allows teachers to determine an independent, instructional, and frustrational reading level for each student. The system provides the teacher with valuable information on each child's specific reading strengths and needs including fluency, word attach and decoding skills, and three different measures of comprehension.
